As a rule, A.Akhmatova's biographers pay the main attention to the dramatic pages of her life, however, they also mention the poetess's love for humor. In her memoirs Akhmatova writes about funny moments of her life. The topic "Akhmatova and Humor" was for the first time raised by S.Umnikov, who collected a lot of caricatures and grotesques related to A.Akhmatova in his home museum in Tsarskoe Selo (now Pushkino) in the 1970s. The present volume sheds light on the mentioned problem.
