The unique problems of polyethnic marriages between the Russians and citizens of the African countries, and their children, who live now on the territories of Russia and Africa, are highlighted for the first time. The fates of the combined families in the Russian and African realities are investigated on the materials of the sociological surveys. The results of the study enable to work out the policy of modernization of the family politics in Russia, and to ground the strategy of strengthening intercultural relations.
