The author of the diary, a well-known scholar, PhD, professor, the major in reserve Saidali Mukhidinov worked in Afghanistan from October 1984 to October 1985 as an interpreter of the Central Committee of the Komsomol under the Central Committee of the Democratic Youth Organization of Afghanistan.
