Advertising in the Western Ukrainian press, which functioned on specific Ukrainian ethno-national bases, was comprehensively investigated. The socio-political, socio-economic, cultural and ideological processes that influenced the development and formation of advertising communication in the territory of the Polish state (1919–1939) are characterized. The essence of the Ukrainian national dominant press advertising discourse in the conditions of statelessness is outlined. The functions, topics, content of advertising in the context of educational propaganda of the latest scientific and technical achievements in the fields of industrial and agricultural production, achievements in trade, culture, art, the press, and everyday life are revealed.
