The historical novel by the famous writer Mikhail Petrov describes the life of the famous Russian naval commander Fyodor Fyodorovich Ushakov. The famous admiral commanded the Black Sea Fleet (1790-1798) and the Russian-Turkish squadron in the Mediterranean Sea (1798-1800), won five major naval battles (Fidonisi, Kerch, Tendra, Kaliakria and Corfu) and did not suffer a single defeat, did not lose a single ship in the battles. In 2001, the Russian Orthodox Church canonized the righteous warrior Feodor Ushakov. The novel has been published several times. This latest edition was published for the 100th anniversary of the author - participant of the Great Patriotic War, writer, laureate of the State Prize of Mordovia Mikhail Trofimovich Petrov.
