The monograph deals with the procedural aspects of the administration of justice. It describes doctrinal approaches to the determination of justice of outstanding Russian scientists before the revolution, as well as issues related to the definition of this concept in the legal science of the Soviet period. From the standpoint of the latest Russian legislation the concept of «administrative jurisdiction» has been considered and its relationship with the categories of «justice in cases of administrative offenses» and «administrative-judicial jurisdiction» has been revealed. The article touches upon the problem of relationship between the concepts of «administrative proceeding» and «proceedings in cases of administrative offenses». Considerable attention was paid to the procedural and legal mechanism for the administration of justice in cases of administrative law, its normative basis was disclosed and structural and substantive characteristics were given. The features of the implementation of this mechanism in the courts of general jurisdiction have been considered. The prospects of development have been shown taking into account the Concept of the new Administrative Code of the Russian Federation adopted in 2019.
