The monograph describes theoretical and practical issues related to the work of appellate courts. On the basis of research and analysis of national and foreign legislation, judicial practice, amendments to the current legislation to ensure the right to a fair trial are proposed. An increase in the efficiency of the appellate court apparatuses was tracked. The experience of foreign countries on the legal regulation of the organization and functioning of appellate courts and the possibility of its application in Ukraine are studied and summarized.
