Zaza Burchuladze's new novel adibas tells about the 2008 Russia-Georgia war. Although there is not a single battle scene in the book, war is still the main character of this novel. The main character is also sex, which is presented in the book as a kind of synonym for war. The "rest" characters - a few young men and women - seem not to be affected by the processes going on around them, but everything is already permeated by the war that is approaching Tbilisi.
