This collection of photographs is the result of an investigation of urban forms that serve as markers of the city and record its memory.
Photography is a marker of memory, a search for new points on the map of cities, an archiving of forms and invisible elements. Each photograph is a certificate of presence. This certificate is a new gene, and the invention of photography has added it to the family of images.
The text is based on notes from essays by Humbrecht and Roland Barthes on the observation and recording of the environment.
