An international scholarly journal for research on the work of J. A. Comenius and the intellectual history of early modern era. It continues the work of the journal Archiv pro badani o zivote a dile J. A. Komenskeho (Archive for Investigations into the Life and Work of J. A. Comenius), which was founded in 1910. Acta Comeniana publishes original articles as well as archival source material and reviews relating to a broad range of themes, including the history of philosophy, of ideas, of science, of literature, and of religion from the 16th to 18th centuries.
