Vladislav Afanasiev (born in 1937) is the Honored Artist of Russia, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Russia. The album presents reproductions of paintings that he painted during his travels along the Northern Sea Route and numerous trips to Chukotka. The art canvases reflect the life of small peoples inhabiting the Amur region and the lower Amur - Evenks and Nanais. These works were exhibited at major Russian exhibitions.
