The monograph is devoted to an important scientific problem of modern literary criticism: the study of the biography and creative heritage of one of the prominent representatives of the 10th century, Abushakur Balkhi. In it, for the first time, the life path, features of the literary environment and the value of the poetic heritage of Abushakur Balkhi that has survived to our time were subjected to a comprehensive study, and its form and content, the role and place of the poem “Ofariname” in the ethnic poetry of this period were analyzed.
