The author of the book, famous sociologist, tries to reveal social, ethnical and archetypical sides of Russian national character, to show its strong aspects and potential growth. The book presents the original scientific examination of the typical psychological and cultural peculiarities of the Russian ethnos. The examination is based on the empirical data obtained by means of carrying out the method of comparison of the average characteristics of Russian and American people by scale of the Minnesotan test. The conception of modern Russian nation forming, offered by the author, is considered to be new.
