A book about Bulgarian statesman Konstantin Stoilov (1853-1901). Stoilov founded the People's Party and served as prime minister of the country. The author of the book, historian and politician Veselin Metodiev, says: "Stoilov was a Bulgarian patriot and politician of European magnitude. At least for two reasons. First, his view on the power of small nations: he saw their glory in their moral potential. And second, his thoughts on the popular principle and the human principle [...] Stoilov gave Bulgarian politics a direction which can be described as 'strategic'. This is the most difficult part of making what is called 'a European community'".
