Velimir (Viktor Vladimirovich) Khlebnikov (1885-1922) is one of the greatest poets of the Russian and world avant-garde of the first third of the 20th century, an associate of Vladimir Mayakovski, David Burlyuk, Alexei Kruchenyukh, Vasily Kamenski, who considered him their leader and teacher. He wrote not only poems, plays, stories, but also research theories that were ahead of their time.
