The book by Nikolay Morozov (1854-1946) – one of the leaders of the “Narodnaya Volya” (“National Will”) party - presents a part of a multivolume study “The Christ” (1924-1932), which proposed a review of main factors of the world history. Astronomical evidences in Russian chronicles and their dates were for Morozov the basis for the Russian history copying. The methods and conclusions Morozov arrived at give an opportunity to call him one of the predecessors of “the new chronology”.
