The pages of the album show the main stages of the fairy tale development for 185 years: from the first drawings to illustrations performed by domestic and foreign artists at the beginning of the XXIst century. Along with original (not printed!) illustrations (published and unpublished), working materials from the workshops of artists and funds of Russian museums, archives, libraries will also be introduced into the album - sketches allowing to trace the path of the birth of illustrations to the Ershov's tale "The Little Humpbacked Horse".
