The book is a complete publication of the hoard of didrachmas of the 1st century BC (IGCH 1143 = CH XI 137) from the village of Fontalovskaya (Krasnodar Territory). This is a unique homogeneous assemblage of the Mithradatic time Bosporan silver of the largest denomination. Most likely, the bulk of these didrachms have to be connected with the first Mithradatic war. The results of XRF of the didrachms’ alloy are presented. Since the elemental composition of Bosporan silver coins of this time has hardly been analyzed until now, the study of alloy of 480 didrachms opens up broad prospects for studying the Bosporan silver coinage and the sources of the metal, the economy and currency of the Mithradatic time.
