The book presents the main concepts, principles, and personalities of the Ukrainian translation studies in order to introduce readers to the context of the history of the Ukrainian science, as well as to help students develop critical skills for evaluating translation theories and understand the dynamics of translation research. It consists of 16 topics covering the period from the 10th to the 21st century. Each topic aims not only to penetrate into the Ukrainian sciholarly context, but also to compare it with the trends and characteristic features of other schools of translation studies in the world.
