The dictionary represents the first independent processing of the occurrences of words and the connection in oral form of standard Slovak. The collective of authors from JULS SAV follows up on the Frequency Dictionary of Slovak Based on the Slovak National Corpus (Bratislava, 2017), in which the occurrences of words are written in written texts. Both dictionaries thus provide a complete picture of the most used part of the current Slovak vocabulary. In the Frequency Dictionary of Spoken Slovak, there are occurrences of words and the combination of words in various kinds of conversations from the whole territory of Slovakia, which are processed in the Slovak speaking corpus in the extent of almost 6.6 mil. text units. The Frequency Dictionary contains nearly 10,000 most frequently used words arranged in absolute frequency, according to the average reduced frequency and alphabet with extended frequency data. In other parts, there are frequency lists of two-, three- and four-word combinations of words, frequency lists of words used in specific communication situations, abbreviations and markings, frequency lists of graphs, word types and structural signs used in the Slovak Spoken Corpus.
