Koshchunas, mystical literary works written by the soothsayers, were one of the biggest fears of the church. The word 'koshchuna' consists of two parts: the first part 'kosh' means 'lot, fate'; the second part has several meanings: 'vain, special, best, free'. Koshchunas described the world in three dimensions: earth, heaven and hell and therefore were contradictory to the laws of Christianity. The author of the present book, young Ukrainian writer Yaroslav Oros is the winner of the International Literary prize "Granoslov 91".
