The book is devoted to the history, architecture and art heritage of one of pearls of Ukrainian culture - Vydubitski monastery, that was one of the most famous centers of Ancient Russia. The history of the monastery and stages of formation of its unique architectural ensemble in the XI-XIXth centuries are studied on the basis of literary and archival sources and materials of archeological researches. The author also writes about the picturesque masterpieces of the monastery and its vestry.
