The outgoing century leaves us large number of unsolved mysteries in the history. Most of them just take place in an archives, but there are some, that will be of interest forever. One of these enigmatic historical issues is Grigory Rasputin, the famous Prophet of all Russia. For some people he was almighty favourite and astrologer, for others - the intrigue weaver and the curse of the tsar family. There are many books devoted to Rasputin, but his character had been distorted by virtue of some historical twists and it is almost impossible to produce an objective judgment. However, the authors of the book did their best trying to acguire and use a number of documents related to Rasputin and his activities, which are being kept in many Russian and foreign archives.
