The State Educational Institution "Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education" is one of the oldest universities in the CIS, inviting doctors, nurses, teachers, scientists and other professionals working in the health care system, as well as for training in doctoral and postgraduate studies to improve their skills and retraining and clinical residency of domestic and foreign specialists. The Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (BelMAPO) was founded in 1931. In 2006, she celebrated her 75th birthday. Today it is a unique educational, pedagogical and scientific center, which is the main educational institution in the system of continuous professional development and retraining for specialists with higher and secondary medical education in the Republic of Belarus.
