Nikolai Tomilov (1941-) is a Russian ethnographer, anthropologist, museologist, famous Russian scientist-historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences (1984), professor (1987); Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, especially known for his works in the field of Turkic studies. The second volume, its first part, includes materials covering the sources and topics of theoretical and historiographic research in ethnography and some related sciences.
