The publication aims to draw public attention to the factual circumstances of the Second Artsakh War, understanding the latter in the broadest sense: from military operations to decision-making, from army building to the quality of strategic thinking of leadership. Of the three analytical sections included in it, the central one is based on more than thirty interviews with political and military figures, decision-makers, experts, and direct participants in the war. The book is completed by a detailed chronology of the 44-day war and a map of military operations.
