This richly illustrated album was released to the opening of the exhibition “Photobiennale in the Russian Museum”. For the Photobiennale the Russian Museum considered its duty to expand the geography and attract maximum participants. As a result of the contest there were selected 970 works of 400 photographers from 80 cities and towns from different regions of the Russian Federation. United by genre - reportage, portrait, landscape, still life, nude, ballet, sports, lifestyle, religion, ethnic, art - they represent a classical understanding of photography and its actual interpretation.
