In 2002-2006 Ales Karlyukevich worked as a journalist for the newspaper “Soviet Belarus”. The work of Alexander Karlyukevich has always been Belarusian-language. The first book was published in 1994 and was called “Return...to Belarus”. He wrote a lot of local history works about the Pukhovichi region. Recently, Karlyukevich has also been writing fiction.
