Since 1215 four Assumption Cathedrals one by one have been built in Yaroslavl. In 1937 the Cathedral was blown up. The book tells about the rebirth of the Cathedral on the eve of 1000th Anniversary of the first Russian city of Volga, describes all the stages of this grandiose construction, and people, participating in it.
