Adjectives, formed from geographical names, represent one of the oldest and the most widely-used stratum of Russian vocabulary. They rarely make part of semantic dictionaries, because they are tied with concrete geographic names. Still, their formation has its own peculiarities. That's why the reference book will be of use for linguists and other specialists. The dictionary includes over 8500 geographical names and even more adjectives formed from them.
