People have always been interested in a sharp and wise word. The appearance of the first collections of aphorisms dates back to the times of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Rome. The very notion of ‘aphorism’ was first used by Hippocrates in his work “About Curing Diseases”. The aphoristic science in Russia appeared at the same time as literature.
