Gunnar Neeme (1918-2005) was an expatriate Estonian artist and writer who lived in Melbourne from 1949. "Tuuleraudne" is his previously unpublished collection of short prose, which complements Estonian war and refugee literature with its unusual approach. The focus of the stories is hostilities and the human experiences and feelings of a (former) soldier, but the topics of love, art philosophy, social criticism, etc. are also discussed.
