The author of the book is a university professor and microbiologist, a lover of the traditions of his native Resnik, and a versatile artist who has been collecting, recording and processing these traditions since his youth in order to preserve them from oblivion. These are contributions that outline traditional customs closer to Zagreb's surroundings, customs that differ in the details of performance, but form the corpus of the traditional life of the entire area. In this book, he collected his dramatizations of those customs and rituals.
