Those we love are not ideal. We have conflicts with them, we get angry with them, we refuse to fulfill their dreams. And yet they are a part of us and we are forever connected to them. Naďa, the main character of the story, realizes this too, who, just a few days after her father's death, has to deal with a strong recurrence of her mother's long-standing psychiatric diagnosis. Hospitalization is in the air, but Naďa's mother says that she is fine. However, things have to get moving and Naďa tries to be her mother's support. The main character's story about serious decisions, doubts, remorse, but also rare moments of closeness, is interwoven with everything that adult children experience when their parents leave. Denisa Fulmekova's novella bears the hallmark of authenticity, storytelling skill and opens up the topic of the end of life with unusual sincerity.
