"Weather from the Sea" is a novel about the importance and power of experience. Daryna Tomylina works as a teacher at a Kyiv private school. She is married, raising a child. Friends consider Daryna happy, and until a certain time it seems to her that this is really so. But somehow she encounters a new, real, and therefore "unnecessary" feeling. Not having the strength to extinguish it, she is waiting for the mythical weather from the sea, which would bring order to her thoughts and life.
This is a novel about how young people lived and what they dreamed of in Kyiv until the war came to them. And it is about how they met her.
