The second largest crisis of capitalism and the immediate aftermath of it, in a brighter light, presented us with the present face of capitalism, which earned the unflattering name casino. Its consequences for society have been laconically evaluated Pope Francis when he said that that kind of economy killed. One of its features is the growing oligarchization of politics. It does not reflect only in domestic corruption scandals, but also in the rise of economic and political power on both sides of the political spectrum. One may therefore ask oneself who really governs us, as well as the more existential question: Where are we heading?
