The monograph is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Udmurt folklorist T.G. Vladykina. It includes unique expedition materials collected personally by T.G. Vladykina or under her leadership in 1979–2020 on the territory of the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kirov region and stored in the Scientific Archive of the Institute of Nuclear Laboratory Sciences of the Ural Federal Research Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The results of scientific research on Udmurt traditional culture and folklore by T.G. Vladykina, her students and colleagues are also presented.
The publication opens the planned series of books “Udmurt Traditional Culture. Performer – text – research.”
