The papers honoring the memory of Ya.B.Rabinovich, a scientist, historian, pedagogue, are divided into three sections. The first one provides Rabinovich's recollections about his family, his childhood and the wartime. The second section is made up of the recollections about his relatives and friends, colleagues and scientists. The last one covers the papers exploring the issues of political and cultural life of Russia and the Urals of the XIXth - XXth centuries.
