For the first time in one publication, information is provided on more than 400 objects of cultural heritage located on the territory of modern Vologda. This number includes objects of cultural heritage that are under state protection and have a certain legal status, as well as those that have the signs of historical and cultural monuments, but formally do not have such a status. The location of all objects is shown on specially compiled maps. The publication presents about 1000 contemporary and historical photographs, drawings.
