The basis of the book is assembled by the articles and materials published for the first time. They throw considerable light on the life and creative work by the legendary Russian writer and bard Bulat Okudzhava, 1924-1997. The book comprises the inaccessible to the majority of readers texts of a series of works from Russian and foreign periodicals related to the 60s and samizdat of the 80s inaccessible to the majority of readers as well as critical reviews of the texts, books and disks by Bulat Okudzhava.
