Icons and wall paintings created by Viktor Vasnetsov at the end of the XIXth – the early XXth centuryies became a new etalon of the Russian art. His icon images were spread all over the Russian Empire; his methods were developed by his disciple. These masters formed a new bright religio-national art school at the turn of the century.
