The collection contains the ten best works from more than a hundred biographical essays about the little-known victims of Nazism who entered the history contest for schoolchildren and students of the same name. Competition was declared by the Dortmund MOC and the Minsk MOC named after Johannes Rau and implemented with the support of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs Germany. Competitive works provide important impulses for the European culture of memory.
