The author of the book considers evolution of the ideological processes having developed in the Western elite’s consciousness and having reflected the global structural political and economic changes of the second half of the XX – beginning of the XXIst century from the one side, and having been one of the important stimuli from the other side. Basing on a wide range of sources the main ideological and political trends of the USA and Western Europe in view of the world order transformations have been systematized and analyzed. The reverse influence of the dominating western ideological systems on the world policy and international relations have also been studied in the book.
