This book is devoted to the history of relations between two peoples — Ukrainian and Georgian. The author covers the period from the 17th century to the present day. Covers the first known contacts between these peoples and narrates when the closest ties between them were formed. The publication talks about the first Ukrainian immigrants to Georgia, who were supposed to assimilate as "Russians", residents of the Russian Empire, but they adopted the Georgian language and culture in a few generations; about the establishment of diplomatic relations between these countries during the period of the formation of independent states — the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Georgian Democratic Republic, which were almost simultaneously occupied by Soviet Russia.
