The book represents the collected works of Aleksandr Feoktistovich Rodin, a famous researcher of Moscow, teacher and one of the initiators of excursion movement in the Moscow of the first half of the XXth century. The book includes the works dated the 1910 – 1950s: for example an essay about Myasnitskaya street, a guide-book, containing the Moscow addresses, related to the life of Leo Tolstoy, the first publication of a popular essay “The mysterious death of czarevitch Dimitry”, as well as the recollections of the author.
