The proposed monograph is the first attempt to systematically comprehend Ukrainian translation from the moment of Ukraine's declaration of independence to the beginning of the Great War as an important discursive phenomenon and a major "national project" that acted as a kind of catalyst for the splitting of the Soviet Zeitgeist in Ukraine by introducing a number of new topics, ideas, and concepts, filling numerous gaps, opening new associative fields and perspectives, and actualizing previously taboo topics and marginal phenomena.
