The ethnographic encyclopedia reflects the ethno-cultural characteristics of the original ethnic categories, names and concepts that have been formed over the centuries, directly related to the Kazakh society, man and the natural environment, their ethnographic significance and role are revealed. The authors introduced into scientific circulation a lot of undeservedly forgotten and obsolete categories, concepts and names in the ethnography of the Kazakhs.
