An extremely up-to-date book, based on documents from Russian archives, belies Putin's latest historical propaganda, which reproduces Stalinist forgeries, and whose blade is directed mainly against Poland. It shows the history of Soviet preparations for the aggressive war, especially intense from the turn of 1929/30. The war concept developed by Mikhail Tukhachevsky in January 1930 envisaged the massive use of tanks, planes and war gases. The main target of this massive attack was to be Poland, which Stalin and his companions believed was a barrier on the way to the West, to Germany, to the heart of Europe. By analyzing new and hitherto unknown documents from the Moscow archives, the author gives a suggestive picture of Soviet foreign policy of that period. It shows that from the very beginnings of Soviet Russia, its leadership was focused on one thought - the conquest of Western Europe.
