The call to revive the history of Latvia so that it becomes closer and more understandable to the younger generation has been heard often, and it is purposefully and persistently followed by the tandems of authors Valdis Rumnieks and Andrejs Migla. So far, their historical novels "Curonian Vikings", "Hello, funny Roger!" and “Viestura sword”, as well as the biographical novel “Chuck”. The authors' latest work "Three Stars" tells the story of the genius Latvian sculptor, the Freedom Monument and the Riga Brothers' Cemetery, as well as the author of many other outstanding sculptures, Karlis Zals (1888–1942).
