The book of author Chytka - Vanek sums up his many years of research in the field of resistance in the sub-state area. It offers 17 chapters devoted to interesting fate of individuals from Liptov in the 2nd years of the world war, respectively, classically focuses on the capture of the significant phenomena of this region in the time of the war (arms and textile production in the region, partisan movement, diversification and intelligence for resistance ...). Its contribution lies mainly in the fact that the war illustrates not the fate of the highest or known resistance, but rather points to the tortuous, triumphant and famous life paths of the "ordinary" members of the resistance, who wrote somewhat in the history of the Liptov war.
